ive got a friend to buy some Bitcoin. a quite decent amount. he bought at 2400$ a piece. today the price is at 1900$ and he told me, he needs to buy twice the amount of coins he bought at 2400.. i was puzzled and asked why? dont you panic? you just got in bitcoin and didnt read anything.. he said * " its called investment, you dont get ROI everyday. when there is a sell off, buy more so that your breakeven point comes down lower.. ive looked at past charts already, its something you need to buy, and forget. the more you check prices and keep trading it daily the less you will have because you will be tempted to sell, trade to get more or panic on market." * well, coming from someone who never did economics in his life and has always been a boring doctor.. that was unexpected for me when he told me that. i was expecting a huge panic, loud bang on my door and lots of swearing for the money loss. but instead he is buying more for his entry point to go lower..
