Let me start with this….I have no idea if this will reach the right people or even if this post is a good idea. However, this forum seemed the best way to start. To be clear, I am not looking to make a big deal about it marketing wise, I just want to try to help. Due to the crash of the bolivares it has come to my attention that many people have started using Bitcoin in Venezuela. Due to the lack of infrastucture or risk of an internet blackout, it may be a problem to keep Bitcoin stored on computers and phones since then they cant be traded until services are restored. Cold storage could be a solution to resolve this issue, allowing people to buy goods with the currency in person offline. I was thinking of printing cold storage notes in south america (0.5,1,2,5,10 mbtc) with as many security features as possible and with either revolutionary or veneuzelan themed designs and getting them into the country as a show of solidarity to those who use Bitcoin. Now I get it, cold storage is not 100% secure, but they might be viable if the demonimations are low and the right paper is used.
Here is a note I quickly made as an example:
Now again I don't know if this is a good idea…. but thats exactly why I'm asking you if its feasible.
