Maybe I can't spend it at the mall, but that's not why I own bitcoin. I "use" bitcoin to hedge against the global monetary systems that was designed to gatekeep and control how people can and cannot use THEIR money.

I'm honestly terrible at grammar but to me it seems that the previous use of the word "their" is rather ambiguous. "Their", implies ownership of "money", but who is the they? "people" or "global monetary system?"

I get this is rather corny but this is what Bitcoin is and always has been about, to remove ambiguity from money. Your keys your Bitcoin.
