I saw a youtube video today that said you can use bitcoins to send a picture message or a full novel and time stamp it to show proof you were the first to make it. How do i do this?

The video basically said bitcoin is more than money its has so much more potential…how come we never talk about all the applications of bitcoin? it seems like everyone is obsessed with getting rich quick or making a fast few fiat bucks. I want to learn more about bitcoins full potential and not just the money aspect of it.
